In 2012, municipalities should provide the Support Program to Utilize the Adult Guardian System for the Persons with Disabilities (SPUAGS) as community life support services.\nThe purpose of this study was to investigate the actual conditions of the persons who used the Long-term care insurance service in Aomori city and to estimate the number of persons who would be able to use the SPUAGS. The study group sent questionnaires to the service providers, 68 of 133 providers (51.1 ％ ) answered the questionnaires, which covered 5302 users' information.\n1771 users out of 5302 any that problems with judgment capacities due to mental disabilities.\nThe results showed that 2％ of the users might be applicable to SPUAGS and about 4000 users might use AGS in the future.
