The subjects were 23 healthy volunteers (19 men and 4 women; mean age, 34.2 + 15.3 years; mean height, 168.7 + 8.4 cm; mean weight, 63.4 ± 8.0 kg). The same subjects underwent a bicycle ergometer exercise test and performed two types of snow removal (shovel and dump snow removal). The relative exercise intensity (% HRmax) of snow removal was 76.3 ± 11.0% for shovel removal and 81.7 ± 12.7% for dump removal. The heart rate during shovel and dump snow removal had a significantly higher positive correlation with VO_2. The slope of the linear equation of the heart rate (X) and VO_2 (Y) was steeper for snow removal than for the exercise test, and that for dump removal was greater than that for shovel removal. There were no statistically significant differences between the estimates and actual values of VO2 during shovel or dump removal. However, the estimates were very close to the actual values for shovel removal while actual values were about 10% higher than estimates for dump removal. These were presumably due to the relative similarity between the active muscles during shovel snow removal and the bicycle ergometer exercise, and the actual values were higher probably because dump snow removal used more muscles than the bicycle ergometer exercise. Similar modes of exercise are needed in order to estimate VO_2 accurately from an equation of heart rate and VO_2., 国立情報学研究所の「学術雑誌公開支援事業」により電子化されました。}, pages = {1--6}, title = {除雪作業中の酸素摂取量の推定と運動様式}, volume = {4}, year = {2003}, yomi = {ヤマシタ, コウジ and ミウラ, マサシ and リ, サンユン and サトウ, ヒデキ} }
