The study involves 12 nursing staff members of a convalescent ward in M hospital that belongs to a radius of the medical services in A prefecture. They participated in a service improvement workshop on the subject of \"What is new nursing care we aim at?\" In the workshop, seven stages of SSM were conducted twice using the process of SSM. Based on the data gained from the process of the workshop, the SSM process was reproduced and the learning process was extracted. Moreover, the questionnaire was conducted targeting on the members participated after the cycle (1) ended. As a result, members participated clarified the problems that nursing stuff have at the scene on their own receiving the changes in the reform of the organization in M hospital. That is, two issues are clarified; \"the necessity of the nursing that focuses on from the routine-works-centered caring to the support of the life\" and \"the improvement of the relationship between nursing staff members and care staff members in order to perform the business with cooperation\".
