The "active students training system" means as the viewpoints. (1) Students can find out problems (study subjects). (2) They can recognize targets and the contents. (3) They can be getting to know the studying resources and techniques. (4) They can study and advance. (5) They can express the results of their study. (6) They can use their learning output in the lifelong learning stages after graduation. Then, the purpose of this paper is to report the outline of an "active students training system" and to report the results of an investigation for teachers in this university. The purpose of the investigation is to clarify the actual condition of the system through teachers consciousness and to consider as the basic data connected to a future improvement. The subjects of the investigation were 53 tenured teachers (above the lecturers except for the teachers who retired at the end of March), and the investigation period was from March 17, in 2003 to March 31 in 2003. From the results of an investigation, it has become clear that every teacher has been promoting the activities to train active students since the establishment.
