 note = {application/pdf, 知的障害のある成人の生涯学習活動は、行政による制度的な保障が十分ではなく、さまざまな立場の人のボランティアにより支えられてきた。青森県における現状は、限定された団体や関係者による参加や支援にとどまっている状況にある。本稿では、事例として青森県立保健大学で開催している「オープンカレッジinあおもり」の活動に参加する学生ボランティアをとりあげ、活動への参加をとおして何を学んでいるか、どのような意識変容を経験したかについて、ボランティアを対象に行ったアンケートの記述回答から分析した。その結果、活動への参加経験によって、知的障害のある人へのコミュニケーションのとり方を身につけるだけでなく、知的障害のある人についての理解、オープンカレッジの理念についての理解などの点で、参加経験が「学び」につながっていることが明らかになった。ボランティアがこのような活動に参加することの意義を「学び」という側面から意味づけていくことは、今後、知的障害のある成人の生涯学習活動に多様な市民の参加を図り、活動を広げていく上で重要なことである。
Life-long learning activities of people with intellectual disabilities have been supported by various volunteers because there are not sufficient programs in the social system. In Aomori prefecture these activities are supported by a limited number of people who are related to people with intellectual disabilities. In this paper we review the "Open College in Aomori" program which is held at Aomori University of Health and Welfare as a case study. We examine what the volunteer participants in this activity learned during this experience through the analysis of a volunteer questionnaire. Analysis results indicate that volunteers learned how to communicate with persons with intellectual disabilities. They also increased their understanding of people with intellectual disabilities and the philosophy of the "Open College in Aomori" program. The volunteer activity provided participants with a meaningful, real life learning opportunity. It is necessary to encourage more people to take part in the life-long learning activities of people with intellectual disabilities and to expand their volunteer opportunities.},
