| 内容記述 | 〔目的〕比較的体を動かす機会の多い農業従事者においても，肥満は問題となってきている。肥満につながる食行動の背景要因について，青森県内の農業従事者と非農業従事者との比較により，探索的に明らかにすること。 〔方法〕青森県の農産物に着目し，ごぼうやにんにくの生産量を誇る南部地方から，調査協力の得られた上北郡東北町（以下，東北町）と十和田市を調査地とした。東北町が運営する「生き活き産業文化まつり2024」および，道の駅とわだが運営する「収穫祭」の来場者のうち，同意の得られた18歳以上の男女を対象に，無記名自記式質問紙調査を行った。 〔結果〕本研究の農業従事者群は，男性の肥満者が55.6％，女性では24.0％であった。農業従事者と非農業従事者において，肥満につながる可能性のある食行動の背景要因を検討した結果，農業従事者群では「食事が唯一の楽しみなので，好きなものを食べる」（個人的要因（報酬））との関連がみられた。非農業従事者群では，「将来の健康を意識して栄養バランスを重視する」（個人的要因（知識，態度））との関連がみられた。 〔結論〕本研究では，青森県南部地方の2市町において調査を実施し，農業従事者と非農業従事者において肥満につながる要因が異なる可能性を見いだすことができた。本研究の結果から，農業従事者の生活習慣病の予防を目的とした一次予防の1つとして，楽しみとしての食の時間を維持しつつ，健康を意識した食行動実践の支援の必要性が示唆された。 |

| 内容記述 | [Objective] Obesity has become a problem even among farmers, who have relatively frequent opportunities for physical activity. This study aimed to explore the underlying factors of obesity-related dietary behaviors, by comparing farmers and non-farmers in Aomori Prefecture. [Methods] Focusing on agricultural products in Aomori Prefecture, two study sites were selected from the southern region, where production of burdock and garlic is high; one was Tohoku Town, Kamikita District (hereafter, Tohoku Town) and the other was Towada City. A self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted for visitors to the "Ikiiki Industry and Culture Festival 2024" in Tohoku Town and the "Harvest Festival" at the Roadside Station Towada. Participants were men and women aged 18 years or older who provided informed consent. [Results] Among farmers, 55.6% of males and 24.0% of females were obese. The most significant underlying factor of obesity-related dietary behaviors was "eating what I like, because having meals is my only pleasure (personal factor (reward))" for farmers and "putting importance on nutritional balance with being aware of future health" (personal factor (knowledge, attitude))" for non-farmers. ［Conclusion] This study, conducted in two municipalities in the southern region of Aomori Prefecture, suggests that the underlying factors of obesity-related dietary behaviors differ between farmers and non-farmers. These findings indicate the need to provide tailored support to farmers that promotes health-conscious dietary behaviors while preserving enjoyable mealtimes, as a primary prevention strategy for lifestyle-related diseases. |
