In the background of this Act, there were concerns from the parents about their children with intellectually disabled after they passed away.\nIn the beginning of 1990, their deinstitutionalization and lives as a part of the community were increasingly emphasized. However, more and more parents are killing their child or committing murder-suicide by anticipating their future lives. This means lives children with intellectually disabled after they lost their parents are not guaranteed yet. How do they feel like to have a child with intellectually disabled and what a life with their child would be?\nIn this thesis, I interviewed parents whose children with intellectually disabled and found out the following issues from their responses; 1.Outside service is only a subsidiary of family nursing care. 2. there is no institutions that listen to and work on parent' s issues and concerns.
