Factor analysis of the vocational intention resulted in 3 factors abstracted, namely, 'Working conditions", "Intrinsic motivation" and "Job challenge". No correlation was noted between "Intrinsic motivation" and "Job challenge" abstracted with their intensive anticipation and vocational intention to the aged with dementia. Their major motivation for the work as home-helpers in the course of in-service training depended on their working conditions. Thus, it is necessary to increase their wage placing them under the normal employment system at public expenses.
