We analyzed 39 Japanese case studies on this topic. As a result of our investigation, we discovered the rehabilitation professionals (doctors, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists and social workers) thought their cases had difficulties accepting their disability: for example, not having the will to live independently, depending on the professional too much, or rejecting the professional. Moreover, some cases had over-realistic expectations to their own recovery while others began to depend on the rehabilitation process too much. Furthermore, with the exception of social workers, we discovered that the rehabilitation professionals tended to feel negatively when they were unable to help ease their patients' anxieties or when they could not understand the reason their patients' were un-cooperative. On the other hand social workers took the standpoint of looking long term, accepting their clients as they were, and carefully using the term acceptance of disability. The way in which people apply the term acceptance of disability differs depending on the situation and the age of those concerned. We propose a total supporting system where people have access to the necessary support of professionals., 国立情報学研究所の「学術雑誌公開支援事業」により電子化されました}, pages = {17--26}, title = {「障害受容」という言葉はリハビリテーション専門職種によってどのように使われているか? : 症例報告の分析から}, volume = {2}, year = {2001}, yomi = {フジタ, チカコ and カワグチ, ハルミ and カンバヤシ, ヒデユキ and ヨシカワ, キミアキ and ヨシカワ, ユキコ and サトウ, タケシ} }
