| 内容記述 | The aim of this paper is to discuss teaching a communicative language programme from the perspective of an experienced language learner new to teaching. This paper refers specifically to changes which took place between the courses which started in 1999 and the courses which started in 2000 in the communicative English programme offered at Aomori University of Health and Welfare (AUHW). More specifically I will outline how the course has progressed and been improved upon and the reasons behind the changes. I will then consider how these changes have affected my own personal development as a teacher, focusing in particular on my own expectations of a communicative language course based on previous language learning experience versus the reality of teaching such a course to non-English majors at a Japanese university. | |||||
