| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to investigate a health care service for elderly before and after starting the Longterm care insurance system in N village, Aomori. It involved fifty-nine subjects. All subjects had health care service before the Long-term care insurance. However, fifteen subjects had not received health care insurance after starting Long-term care insurance; they did not apply for or were left off the new service. This study showed that (1) ninety percent of the subjects received the same service before and after the new insurance system, (2) the utilization of home-visit service decreased after the new service, whereas the utilization of day care service remained, (3) Almost all who were not eligible for the new service were content with their present states, but some had anxiety for isolation. In conclusion, health care services for elderly had remained the same before and after the Long-term care insurance was introduced. And other health care service is needed for the elderly who left off the new service, in order to protect them from any diseases and isolation. |
