| 内容記述 | This study aims to clarify issues in outpatient nursing regarding support for advanced cancer patients undergoing outpatient chemotherapy and approaches to solving these problems. Data were obtained in focus-group interviews with 9 outpatient nursing administrators who consented to cooperate, at facilities giving outpatient chemotherapy. The data were analyzed qualitatively. Three problems with outpatient nursing in supporting advanced cancer patients undergoing outpatient chemotherapy were identified : shortage of nursing support to respond to the needs of the patients and their families, deficient outpatient chemotherapy departments and insufficient connection with other departments and family doctors, and an inadequate treatment environment. The results show that there are three approaches to solving the problem of supporting advanced cancer patients undergoing outpatient chemotherapy : providing nursing services that respond to the needs of the patient and the family, establishing an outpatient nursing system ; and improving the treatment environment. | |||||
