| 内容記述 | In this paper I will discuss internationalisation in the Japanese education system. I will begin by outlining the introduction of internationalisation with the education reforms of the late 1980s. I will next offer reasons explaining why the reform process has been unsuccessful. A basis for objectively measuring internationalisation will be proposed and expanded upon with the JET (Japan Exchange and Teaching) Programme being used as a case study in which to show specifically how the education reforms have failed to successfully introduce internationalisation into the Japanese education system. | |||||||
