| 内容記述 | Based on an attitude survey carried out of male residents of Aomori Prefecture in 2006, this study shows that achieving a gender-equal society is necessary for men as well as women. Major findings of the study includes; 1) More men as well as women are seeking to balance work and family life. 2) Although most men in Japan are expected to get married, to succeed to the family estate and care for their parents, so many men feel burdened by these expectations and responsibilities. 3) There are a lot of men who had breakdowns or even committed suicide after struggling to fulfill their responsibilities as men. | |||||
