| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to reassess the new junior high school education in the earliest stage of the postwar period and to report on local cultural activities, especially on the drama which was performed by young people in Kameda, a small town in Akita. Methods: The methods of study are: 1) questionnaires to sixty students who graduated 40 years ago from Kameda junior high school, and interviews with their five teachers. 2) questionnires to twenty people involved in drama activities during 1948-60 in Kameda, and interviews with four of them. Conclusion: There are important lessons to be learnt from local cultural activities during the postwar period; 1) The vital energies of young people to overcome the conservative mind in the senior generation in a confused society. 2) The effective power of the cultural environment and the invisible educational effect on the community when the representation of immoral behavior by young adult is exaggerated by overacting. | |||||
