| 内容記述 | This was a preparatory research study performed to construct a data base system which provides information of social welfare institutions in Aomori Prefecture. By questionnaire and interview, we investigated the current conditions of welfare informationalization in Japanese local self-governing bodies, and discussed the problem of infomation provision systems for community welfare. We ascertained the following. l)The purpose of setting up the information provision systems was to assist persons in selecting welfare services. 2)However under infomationalized headings, there were only basic data such as addresses and telephone numbers of institutes, which was of little help in allowing people in need of treatment to select the correct services. These results indicate that welfare informationalization in Japan is in the early stages. To promote community welfare, we must first consider how to assist with subjective selection among many services. In order to do so, we will soon investigate the demands of both service providers and users for welfare informationalization. |
