| 内容記述 | This paper discusses a support system, i.e. its services, the structure of its services, and the ideal features of its services, in small-scale institutions for the elderly, as part of Social Welfare Work. The paper particularly refers to highly "community-life-oriented" institutions among day-service centres or group-homes, those which are already established by the private sector as collective life supporting institutions for the senile elderly. The paper contains three chapters. The first chapter analyses reasons why "community-life-oriented" centres attract attention nationwide, the second covers the growing development of day-service centres by the private sector, and the third explores the significance of group-homes established for the senile elderly. Lastly, the paper mentions "human factors in support system environments in group-homes," as a recent study of day-service centres reveals that environmental factors play an important role in the system. |
