| 内容記述 | This study was conducted to evaluate the Japanese version of the Family Dynamics Measure II (FDM II) in families with children. FDM II has six dimensions to measure family dynamics and functions, which were based on Barnhill's framework for healthy family systems. FDM II consists of 66 items with a 6-point likert scale ranging from strongly disagree to strongly agree. FDM II was translated into Japanese. The items were evaluated for content validity and psychometricproperties by 3 Japanese researchers who hold either a Ph. D or M. S. degree in nursing. The reliability was evaluated by 24 Japanese mothers and 12 Japanese fathers each of whom had children under 3-year-olds. With 6 dimensions of FDM II, 4 dimensions were found to have positivecorrelations. The alpha reliability for the FDM II was 0.92. The Japanese version of Family Dynamics Measure II is thought to be useful in assessing Japanese families who have young children. | |||||
