| 内容記述 | 本稿では荻生徂徠を保守派イデオローグの代表として捉え、どうしたらこうした保守派イデオロ−グを効果的に批判出来るのか、それを考えてみたい。彼らは次のように主張する。「これが現実なのである。われわれはこうした悲惨な現実から思考を出発させねばならないのであり、決して空疎な非実際的理論から出発させてはならないのである」と。こうして徂徠は「先王の道」を、もはや個人の道徳の問題としてではなく、先王たちが作った統治システムの問題として捉え、解釈する。それは、最初に或る部分を変化させると、百年後にあちらにその影響の結果が生ずるというような、極めて精妙に作られた統治システムである。「道」をこのように解釈すれば、儒教は徳川政権をいかに長続きさせるかという現実的方法となる。今や、全ては政治的観点から再解釈されることになる。個人の道徳性はもはや重要なものではなくなり、重要なのは統治者にとって役立つ個々人の才能となる。徂徠は無味乾燥な儒教を、実践的な政治学へと変えることに成功したのである。しかしながら、徂徠の主張は本当に正しかったのであろうか？そして、どうやったら、こうした保守派イデオローグを我々は効果的に批判出来るのであろうか？その回答を求めるのが本稿の目的である。 In this paper I regard Sorai Ogyu as a representative of the conservative ideologues and consider how we can effectively criticize them. The conservative ideologues insist: "This is a hard fact. Man has to start thinking from this miserable reality, not start from the empty impractical theory." So Sorai interprets "the path of the Chinese legendary kings" not as the problem of individual morality, but as the problem of the reign-system which the Chinese legendary kings created so exquisitely that changes at the inception influenced the result a hundred years later. As a result of this interpretation of the "path", Confucianism becomes the real method of how the Tokugawagovernment can survive. Now all is re-interpreted from the political view. Individual morality is unimportant, but the individual talents which are to benefit the ruler are important. Sorai succeeded in changing innocuous Confucianism to practical politics, but was Sorai's insistence really right? How can we criticize such conservative ideologues effectively? This paper aims to answer these questions. |
